 The Yushan International Billiards City project is a world-wide, large-scale integrated billiards industry project jointly developed by the People’s Government of Yushan County and Beijing Xingpai Group. 

It includes billiards stadiums, museums, halls of Fame, the International Billiards Academy, etc., which are firsts of their kind in the world of billiards. 

Jointly designed by the Beijing Architecture Research Institute and Beijing Huati Design Institute (the subsidiary of the General Administration of Sport), the venue has a construction area of 35,500 square meters and tops 25.7 meters in height, the equivalent of an eight-floor building.

There are 3,000 fixed seats in the arena, steeply tiered so that the crowd can take inaction no matter where their seats are. As well as the permanent seating, there are an additional 1,000 temporary seats which allow the crowd to be closer to the tables, meaning that the arena can accommodate up to 4,000 spectators in total.

 Students from all over the world already now developing their skills at the International Billiards Academy, receiving full-time cultural education and special training in billiards vocational skills during the three-year course. The academy has theoretical classrooms, student apartments, library rooms, multi-functional lecture halls, gymnasiums, and restaurants as well as areas to play snooker, Chinese billiards, and American billiards. 

 Full-time academic education includes a range of courses in Chinese, English, sports training, and human sports science, in addition to cultivating many professional skills by combining a technical team from some of the best coaches in the world. 

 Foreign students are provided with accommodation on campus, full board meals, and unlimited play 24/7. 

The museum is committed to promote and develop billiards’ culture and spirit by showcasing the significant tournaments and players of Snooker, American pool, Chinese pool, Pyramid and Carom.

The museum sits a total area of 13,500 square meters and the building area is 7,000 square meters. The charming culture of billiards will be presented through six thematic zones: Origins of Billiards, Billiards World, The Industry, Billiards China and Hall of Fame, each designed to entertain and engage through various collections and displays.

Managed by the Chinese Billiards & Snooker Association, and operated by Xingpai Billiards, the museum has received tremendous support from a number of international billiards organizations including the Chinese Billiards & Snooker Association, World Professional Billiards & Snooker Association, the European Billiards & Snooker Association, the Asian Pocket Billiard Union, the Africa Billiards & Snooker Confederation and the Federation of Billiard Sports of Russia.
